Contact Details of the International Relations Offices at the Faculties and Schools of the University of Granada. They mainly handle academic issues and sign Erasmus agreements with the programme countries.
Enrolment is managed by each faculty or school. The International School for Postgraduate Studies is responsible for master’s students. Once your enrolment is complete, they will give you a PIN for your Student Account or the Virtual Office.
Your Student Account serves many purposes. You can access it via the UGR’s main website by clicking the last icon at the top of the screen and entering the passport or ID number you used to enrol and the 4-digit PIN provided by your faculty.
While awaiting your TUI card, you can use your International Mobility Certificate and passport or ID to prove you’re a member of the UGR community. Once enrolled, you can download this certificate from the same space where you completed your online application, by clicking “Acreditacion de Estudiante/Print International Mobility Certificate.”
This certificate will also help you with procedures at the Immigration Office. You can find more information in the “Immigration Procedures” section
The UGRApp is the official application of the University of Granada (UGR) for mobile devices.
The application is available in different versions, both for Android and iOS (Apple). It is connected to the institutional databases and many computer applications of the UGR. Once the user downloads the application and identifies himself/herself with his/her UGR username and password (the same ones he/she uses to access the virtual office), he/she can access a wide variety of services and information, such as:
- Academic services: consultation of subjects, timetable/schedules, grades and exam calendar.
- TUI (Smart University Card) in digital format: permits the identification of the members of the UGR. Its use on mobile phones offers access to services such as the university canteens, library for book loans or to see the occupation of the study rooms at the libraries, etc.
Once you’ve created a UGR email via the Virtual Office, you can access the University’s Wi-Fi using the same email and PIN. Two networks are available: CVI-UGR and eduroam.
Once you have a UGR email you can create a Google account linked to the UGR. Visit https://go.ugr.es/ to create your account. For example, if your UGR email is alumno@correo.ugr.es, your Go Account will be e.alumno@go.ugr.es
With your UGR email and PIN you can access the “Consigna” Temporary Cloud Storage Service, which is very useful for sending documents too large to email.
Once enrolled, you can obtain your University Smart Card (TUI or “Tarjeta Universitaria Inteligente”) and activate it as a Bonobus public transport card.
To obtain it, you have first go to “Acceso identificado” Student Account (https://oficinavirtual.ugr.es/ai/ ) and apply for an appointment to collect it at the option: “Emisión Instantánea de la TUI – CITA PREVIA”.
Locations where you can pick up your University Smart Card (TUI):
– NO ONE WILL BE SEEN WITHOUT A PRE-BOOKED APPOINTMENT.
– IT IS NECESSARY TO BRING YOUR IDENTITY DOCUMENT WITH YOU WHEN YOU ATTEND YOUR APPOINTMENT.
While awaiting your TUI card, you can use your International Mobility Certificate and passport or ID to prove you’re a member of the UGR community. Once enrolled, you can download this certificate from the same space where you completed your online application, by clicking “Acreditacion de Estudiante/Print International Mobility Certificate.” This certificate will also help you with procedures at the Immigration Office. You can find more information in the “Immigration Procedures” section.
And once you have your TUI, you can activate it at any of these points to make sure it works as a Bonobus public transport card in Granada.
Important: This is not applicable to Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility students, who must meet other language requirements
To ensure the quality of international mobility, the UGR collects data on the Spanish language level of incoming students.
If you submitted your Spanish certificate with your online application, you don’t need to do anything.
If you didn’t have it then, but have it now, simply upload it to the platform on the Modern Languages Centre (CLM) website.
If you do not have a Spanish language certificate you must complete the free Language Level Test organised by the UGR’s Modern Languages Centre.
